Executive: Public Sector, Transformation

I am a values-driven executive with over a decade of public sector banking experience leading high performing teams and connecting with clients across 15 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. I believe in leading with compassion and from the front. Contributing towards the upliftment of our communities is what motivates me to show up every day. As a purpose-led organisation, Nedbank has a unique approach towards public sector banking. We go beyond banking to deliver suitable solutions to all spheres of government across South Africa.

National Manager: Public Sector

During my 27 years in banking, I have filled various roles which include Corporate Banking relationships, managing multinational clients and heading up a client service team. Public Sector has been my passion since 2010. The fulfilment of completing a task and winning a tender is satisfying. This is a unique sector where you can provide a service to the key client, the employees, the service providers and the wider communities. As a National Manager I thrive on assisting the wider team in the Bank to achieve this goal.

Provincial Manager: KwaZulu-Natal

I have held various positions in the banking industry for over 17 years. I have worked in Retail Banking, Business Banking and Corporate Investment Banking specialising in the Public Sector field. I have a flair for managing the banking needs for Government Entities, Higher Education institutions and political parties. I am passionate about utilising my skills and experience to develop and help my surrounding communities while positively contributing to the banks vision for growth.

Provincial Manager: Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Gauteng and North West

I have more than 19 years working experience in a banking environment. With an Agricultural background and having worked for a Development Finance Institution, I joined Nedbank as a Business Manager in the North-West Province in 2010 and was later appointed a Public Sector Provincial Manager for Northern Business Unit. Building and nurturing client relationships is the best part of my job. Making a difference in the lives of the communities that we serve satisfy me the most.

Provincial Manager: Western Cape, Northern Cape and Free State

I have been in banking for 21 years and joined the Public Sector segment in 2010. My role covers public and private partnerships, delivering social services as well as assisting in infrastructure development (transport, water, municipal and environmental). There is still more that can be achieved if public and private sectors work together and I see my role as enabling these parties coming together to achieve this whilst supporting the business to entrench relationships with public sector entities is an exciting part of my role.

Provincial Manager: Eastern Cape

I have extensive experience within the banking industry, which includes three years as Business Development Manager – Affordable Housing. Having joined Nedbank as a Provincial Manager in the Eastern Cape in 2020, I moved on to Public Sector banking 10 years ago, first as Provincial Manager – Business Acquisitions and later as Manager Transactional Solutions.
